Bronchovesicular

Download WAV file (238 kB)

These bronchovesicular sounds were recorded over the right posterior lower chest of a 2 day old baby girl.

The respirosonogram provides a visual representation of the content of the lung sound recording. Time is shown on the horizontal and frequency on the vertical axis. Sound intensity is indicated on a color scale, ranging from red (loud) over yellow and light green (medium) to dark green and gray (low). The breathing signal in this case is from Respitrace, the rib cage movement is plotted at the top (inspiration = up, expiration = down). A simultaneously recorded electrocardiogram (ECG) is shown at the bottom.
